Supplement Store · Westport, CT

Supplements chosen
for you, not for everyone.

Most people buy supplements the same way they buy socks — a shelf, a label that sounds right, and a hope that it does something. Then the bottle sits in a cupboard half-used, and nobody ever finds out whether it helped.

That is the part worth fixing. Not which brand you buy, but whether anyone actually looked at you before recommending it.

Dr. Propper uses Nutrition Response Testing to work out what your body is responding to, and then recommends specific whole-food supplements based on what that testing shows. The recommendation comes out of an evaluation, not off a shelf — and it gets reviewed as you change.

The store below is the practice's own. It carries the Standard Process line Dr. Propper dispenses, so you can reorder what he put you on without a trip to the office.

How it works

Evaluated first,
recommended second.

01

We evaluate first

Nutrition Response Testing looks at how your body responds, so any recommendation starts from you rather than from a symptom checklist.

02

You get a specific plan

Named products, in an order that makes sense, with a reason attached to each one. Not a basket of everything that might conceivably help.

03

You order from the practice store

Everything is ordered through Propper Chiropractic's own Standard Process store, so you are getting the product Dr. Propper actually recommended.

04

We check whether it worked

Your programme is reviewed at follow-up visits. Things get added, changed, or taken away — a plan that never changes is a plan nobody is monitoring.

Why order here

The difference is
that someone looked.

  • Recommendations come out of an evaluation of you, not a general guess at what people your age tend to need
  • One line, dispensed by the practice — so what you reorder is what you were actually put on
  • Your programme is reviewed as you go, rather than left running indefinitely
  • Dr. Propper can tell you why a product is on your list, and when you should expect to come off it
  • Questions go to the person who made the recommendation, not to a call centre
Frequently recommended

What Dr. Propper
reaches for most.

These come up often enough to be worth naming. Whether either one belongs on your list is a question for your evaluation — this is a starting point for a conversation, not a recommendation made sight-unseen.

Ligaplex I

One of the two products Dr. Propper reaches for most often. Ask him whether it belongs on your list — that answer depends on your evaluation, not on a web page.

Ligaplex II

The other of his most-recommended pair. As with everything here, whether it is right for you is a conversation, not a checkout decision.

Supplement questions

Fair questions,
answered plainly.

Do I have to be a patient to order?

No. The store is open and you can order from it directly. But the honest answer is that you get more out of it if someone has evaluated you first — otherwise you are back to guessing, just with a better brand of bottle.

Why Standard Process specifically?

It is the whole-food line Dr. Propper has chosen to dispense and works with day to day. Because the practice stocks and recommends from one line he knows well, he can tell you precisely why a given product is on your list rather than reading you a label.

How do I know which products I need?

Through an evaluation. Nutrition Response Testing is how Dr. Propper works out what to recommend, and it is the only responsible way to answer this question — anyone who can tell you what you need before examining you is selling, not advising.

Can I keep taking what my medical doctor prescribed?

Bring your list to your visit — everything you are taking, prescription and otherwise. Nutritional recommendations are made alongside your medical care, not instead of it, and nothing here is a reason to stop a prescribed medication. That decision belongs to the doctor who prescribed it.

How long will I be on a programme?

It depends on what the evaluation shows and how you respond, which is why programmes are reviewed at follow-up rather than set once. If nobody has told you when you should expect to come off something, ask.

What if I have a question about an order?

Call the office on (203) 226-1047 or text (203) 258-1124. Orders placed through the store are the practice's, so questions about what you were recommended go straight to the people who recommended it.

Stop guessing
at the label.

Come in, get evaluated, and leave with a short list that has a reason attached to every item on it. Then reorder it here whenever you need to.
