GERD and Acid Reflux Drug Zantac Pulled From CVS

It was announced that stores including CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart are pulling Zantac off their shelves. The reason: it is found that an ingredient called NDMA N-nitrosodimethylamine causes cancer in rats and can possibly cause cancer in humans. This ingredient is also in many other drugs and vaccines. If you or your family use Zantac or has a history of acid reflux or GERD, know that there is a better way to treat this condition. Using digestive enzymes, healthy yeast, and even organic apple cider vinegar (Bragg's) can improve digestion and reduce reflux.

It is often the case that acid reflux is caused by "too little stomach acid and enzymes". This can cause delayed emptying of the stomach after a meal. The stomach should empty completely within 90 minutes of eating. If not, the contents remain and begin to putrify and create noxious chemicals that irritate the stomach and cause a back-up in the digestive process. This leads to reflux symptoms. As Dr. Propper or Dr. Jenn to help you and your family curb this condition with our Nutrition Response Testing Program. You too can cure your acid reflux safely and without cancer-causing drugs.

Testimonial

  • "I've been to Dr. Propper twice; in 2012 I was having lower back issues and after working with him (and listening to him & Dr. Jen) they went away. Over Thanksgiving (2015) I developed a herniated disc - this was the worst back pain I've ever experienced and Propper Chiropractic has helped me TREMENDOUSLY - the pain is practically gone and I am extremely thankful!"
