Chiropractic believes that man is endowed with an Innate Intelligence, or an inborn wisdom that as applied in the physical sense, runs the body. This wisdom is communicated to every cell and tissue of the body by the nervous system via mental impulses or electrochemical messages with “intelligence” that originate from the brain and are distributed via the spinal cord and peripheral nerves to all tissues.

LIFE in chiropractic is defined as “the 100% expression of Innate Intelligence through matter.” Evidence of life in the body is Motion or Vibration; therefore, the higher the vibration or motion of each tissue cell, the more capable these cells are of doing their jobs and functioning. When all cells are receiving mental impulses and are in 100% motion, a state of HEALTH exists. Low vibration or low motion creates mutations or aberrations in tissue known as Dis-ease.

The condition of Dis-ease or disturbance of the flow of mental impulses is a direct result of Vertebral Subluxations Complex VSC of the spine. VSC are misaligned vertebrae that result in interference of the expression of Life Force or mental impulses.

Chiropractic holds the solution to the lack of 100% expression of LIFE in the body. It is called the Chiropractic Adjustment.

An Adjustment is a precise gentle force applied specifically to the spine at the right place and right time. The purpose of the Adjustment is to remove the Vertebral Subluxation Complex, therefore allowing fee expression of the LIFE FORCE needed by tissue cells to coordinate and carry out their normal functions.
